This is an at will role,expected to last 3 months.
What You’ll Do
Layout and assist in the assembly ofsolar modules /array, mounting hardware, and electrical equipment
Organize trucks for installs/removalsfor the upcoming day making sure everything is neat and organized
Able to perform required preventivemaintenance activities on Commercial PV systems and capable oftraining/mentoring others in the team as needed
Respond to corrective maintenancecases on all commercial energy products and updating online case logsaccurately
Respond to customers’ concerns withthe performance or functionality of their system
What You’ll Bring
Minimum 2 years'experience PV equipment and installation, preferably commercial or utilityscale and with extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment and havethe ability to read electrical plan sets and equipment manuals
Previous experienceworking with power/hand tools, electrical equipment, and ability to navigatenumerous computer applications and technology independently
Ability to work at greatheights, work in extreme environments, perform prolonged periods of repetitiousduties, lift at least 50 pounds frequently and work in extreme environments(example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc). These positions require working atheights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs
Capable of performingrepetitious duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periodsof time up to 12 hours a day and have the ability to safely handle tools andmaterials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries,and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc
Ability to climb andutilize equipment on site including various ladders rated for 300lbs and mustmeet OSHA fall protection standards for at height work limited at 300lbs andmust also be able to meet equipment standards for fall protection (harness,anchor, ropes, etc.) with a maximum capacity of 310bs
