WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role will report to the Global Digital Marketing Director for Nike Football. You will work closely with Global Brand Management, Integrated Media, Social, Comms, Sports Marketing, Creative, and Business leads, in Global as well as with Geography partners in EMEA, North America, APLA, and Greater China. You will also manage agencies and partners to bring strategies to life, as needed.
The ideal candidate will bring a desire to be part of a fast-paced, high-energy team of digital marketers who are hungry to spearhead the industry. The ability to think creatively, take calculated risks, and have a passion to crafting breakthrough, impactful and innovative digital marketing strategies & plans is a must.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience and training.
- 5+ years of experience driving digital marketing at a global, geo and/or city level.
- A deep passion for Gen Z football culture and Nike Football product, paired with a clear perspective on how digital experiences and Nike-only distinctions can inspire, educate, and serve this next generation of players
- Proven track record of leading transformative innovative marketing initiatives in digital consumer engagement, preferably within football.
- Effective communicator, both written, verbally and through formal presentation of plans.
- Great interpersonal skills and team first attitude across everything they do. A strong sense of personal accountability, a bias for action, and an ability to work autonomously.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will lead & oversee seasonal digital marketing plans for Nike Football, delivering both disruptive ideas to ignite the brand as well as orchestrating digital experiences to drive growth for Nike Football footwear and apparel. Additionally, you will:
- Help cultivate relationships with footballers where they are off-platform and create compelling hooks to bring them on-platform to experience football products, athletes, stories, and communities in new ways
- Manage the end-to-end execution of the integrated, global digital marketing plan from brief to completion
- Leverage deep marketplace and consumer insights to shape the seasonal brief, as well as the disruptive ideas that ladder into the objectives & outcomes of the plan
- Establish clear objectives and outcomes with our global cross-functional and geo digital marketing partners to help drive and influence the work
- Drive strong internal cross-functional and external agency partnerships that helps foster positive communication and a collaborative work environment.
