Your impact
As a Geospatial Survey Project Manager, you will work with internal teams and clients to develop scopes of work, fee estimates, and Quality Control Plans. You will also get the opportunity to perform or delegate tasks to ensure all scope of work elements are completed, including:
- Field crew coordination and scheduling
- Geodetic control network planning and design
- Control survey processing and adjustment
- Feature processing of topographic field data
- Generating, editing and clean-up of Digital Terrain Models (DTM)
- Title commitment review
- Public records research
- COGO calculations
- Writing property descriptions
- Quality control
- Fee estimates and scope development
- Project budget tracking
- Sales and Business Development
Additionally, you will be expected to:
- Serve as the primary project technical expert and assist with technical problem resolution.
- Understand the project scope of work and the goals and expectations of the client.
- Provide input on project safety plan and ensure work activities are compliant.
- Track project schedules, costs and estimates to complete and adjust production as necessary.
- Prepare, monitor and adjust the project quality plan.
- Ensure technical work complies with processes and procedures.
- Ensure that all checking and approval activities are completed prior to transmitting deliverables.
- Support leadership vision and nurture group culture
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in applicable field.
- 8 or more years’ experience in Land Surveying.
- Experience completing all technical aspects of a surveying task.
- AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer and TBC experience preferred.
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor.
- Must have good social and communication skills.
- Ability to pass drug screen and background checks.
- Reputation as a trusted and respected member of the surveying community.
