Job Summary:
The M&A Integration Senior Manager is responsible for leading and orchestrating the seamless integration of acquisitions to enhance the organization's strategic advantages and growth potential. You will work closely with cross-functional teams developing integration strategy, pressure test alignment assumptions, lead diligence, layout detailed workplans, and oversee execution in order to accelerate synergy realization and facilitate smooth onboarding experience. You will be a strategic and operational leader who understands a two-sided marketplace, operates with strong accountability, comfort working within an ambiguous environment, collaborates well with cross-functional partners, is deeply data and customer driven, and brings structure into complex projects.
Overarching responsibilities include leading the integration planning and execution process across various deal archetypes for vertical marketplace teams (Ex. Fashion, Collectibles, Parts & Automotive) as well as the tech, product, and payments organizations.
What you will accomplish:
Collaborate with executives, legal, finance, and other relevant stakeholders to define acquisition goals/strategic rationale and integration priorities/approach
Co-lead the due diligence process in partnership with Strategy, Corp Dev, and Acquiring Business Unit
Scope and prioritize synergies based on strategic importance, feasibility of implementation, and quantify the potential impact
Define clear strategies, implementing operating plans, and leading teams
High degree of ownership, strong project management skills, and commitment to results
Take a data-driven approach to planning and decision making
Solve problems while balancing attention to detail with efficiency
What you will bring:
Experience leading strategy projects for a top-tier management consulting firm or in corporate strategy and working with senior executives
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and partners
Experience in M&A integration within the e-commerce industry, with a focus on capability acquisitions
Commercial leadership experience in categories including Fashion, Collectibles, Home, and Parts & Automotive a plus
Ability to work in a fast paced environment or act under pressure
Creative, collaborative and persistent problem solver
Highly analytical, able to build out annual forecast and detailed planning models
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; MBA or relevant master's degree is a plus.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.
