Overall review and manage/control the own retail store portfolio to safeguard retail’s profitability, it includes but not limited to following scope and responsibilities:
New, remodel, closure store BPM review and control. Validate the assumptions of both top line and bottom line to make sure it is reasonable and fair by benchmarking the similar format as well as the general business situation, challenge the unreasonable assumption and non-beneficial commercial terms to adidas. Post review the actual performance after the investment is done, define proper KPI for post review and deep dive the variance with BPM and trigger as well as follow up improvement plan.
Periodically review the low performance doors and initiated the discussion and improvement plan with OPS and RE. Follow through the decision and execution and post review to make sure proper action plan is being taken.
Proper plan the capex budget & ensure the investment is planned for well deserved areas esp. for RBO projects. Control the capex spending for store investment together with other functions. Bring valuable input on process improvement and provide proper transparency to management for the over spending analysis and trigger attention and improvement.
Coordinate with global retail finance & local accounting finance team, lead retail store impairment test.

Analyze the CS (concept store) actual business performance, work with business stakeholders to prepare CS P&L forecast and budget, provide insights & best support to business growth
Discount / Margin planning and management by store
Store operating overheads planning validation, challenge, and improvement
CS rolling forecast P&L review and analysis from different angles, halo/core, by format, comp/non-comp.
Cross functional communication with business and other stakeholders
Act as the retail rental cost controller, understand the rental terms & IFRS16 accounting rules, manage the actuals to budget and forecast, through analysis to find cost saving opportunities and bring recommendation to business team.
Own retail projects controller
Retail business case review and control and business scenarios simulation
Being focal from commercial finance for retail related initiatives and provide commercial finance angle support and POV
Lead/propose process improvement for retail area x-functional processes
