Associate FP&A Manager, HK

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s planning cycles, incl. 3-5 year Strategic Planning, Annual Budget Planning, and quarterly forecasting process, establish timetable and guidance under APAC and GC overall framework, develop templates and reports, support business unit heads to build up their detailed plans, and assist GM review with good business understanding and financial insights
• Lead monthly actual business and financial performance review with GM, provide solid analysis to help all business units head better understand situation, and partner with them to make decisions and drive actions, and gatekeep the company’s profitability delivery with highlighted risks and sensitivity analysis
• Lead the pricing management for the organization, including but not limited to: review and approve floor price, price adjustment, new price setup, and special price application, with solid ROI analysis and right business justification
• Manage budget, review and approve expense and CAPEX, to make sure it’s within budget and with good business justification and returns, continuously help GM and business teams to improve spending efficiency and make necessary trade-offs, as well as investment for future
• Support GM to prepare presentation pack for HK’s review with GC and APAC, including market dynamics, business situation, financial analysis, trend analysis, cross business units’ benchmark, investment cases, etc.
• Proactively drive smooth and timely communication with GC and APAC finance to help better understanding of HK business and secure support needed
• proactively act as the bridge of overall Finance team and business/other functional teams and GMs, raise management attention to problems and resolutions in financial processes and controls with cross-teams close collaboration
• Support and share non-finance department staff in understanding the end to end process and interface between finance and the business
• Support management with special projects, workflow process improvements, or other tasks by line manager and GM

Required Skills & Personal Traits

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related;
• Minimum 5 years of solid working experience on FP&A and commercial finance;
• Strong business sense, open-minded, high learning agility;
• Ability to drive initiatives and changes through successful execution and ability to influence key stakeholders;

• Able to work under pressure, high commitment;
• Attention to details; high numerate sense with strong analytical and problem solving; but also ability to think out of the box and with courage to make judgement calls;
• Strong self-motivating with continuous improvement mindset and vision of big picture;
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and planning skills with solid interpersonal skills and strong team spirit;
• High level of dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation;
• Working experience in MNC medical or pharmaceutics company, and/or people management experience is a plus
