Your Role and Responsibilities As a Technical Team Leader – IBM Logo Servers, you are expected to work on all type of pSeries and Power 4, 5, 5+, P6, P7, P8 and P9 Series Server or any RISC based Servers You will need to visit the domestic client’s offices / data centres on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role.
Responsibilities:
Must have at least 1 year of enterprise account infrastructure support and team leader skills (at least 5 – 10 member team size)
Maintaining all type of pSeries and Power 4, 5, 5+, P6, P7, P8 and P9 Series Server or any RISC based Servers
Basic Power Server hardware troubleshooting knowledge or any RISC Server hardware troubleshooting knowledge,
Configuration of LPAR/Partitioning through HMC & HMC Backup ,Upgrading FSP and HMC Version.
Knowledge on installation, configuration, troubleshooting on AIX (V4.x, 5.x, 6.1, 7.x), PowerVM, PowerHA(5.x, 6.x, 7.x), Linux(Redhat, SUSE) any other flavour of Unix
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Must be having overall 12-15 years overall IT experience with 3-5 years of serverhardware support experience
Install, configure, and maintain IBM server hardware and related components.
Ensure proper integration of servers into the existing network infrastructure
Monitor server performance and proactively identify and address issues.
Optimize server configurations for optimal performance and resource utilization
Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard IBM servers and associated data.
Regularly update and patch server systems to address vulnerabilities.
Respond to server-related incidents and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex technical issues.
Collaborate with other IT teams, such as network administrators, database administrators, and security specialists, to ensure seamless operation of the overall IT infrastructure.
