What you'll be doing:

• Participate in ground breaking Processor design in deep submicron technologies.

• Work as part of a global circuits team to design innovative circuits for hardware security, adaptive clocking and power management solutions

• Apply circuit techniques to improve the hardware security protection of the next generation GPUs by designing protection and detection circuits for common security attacks.

• Create prototypes of patentable ideas on test chips and drive them to be deployed across the entire line of products.

• Be a mentor/technical lead for junior team members.

What we need to see:

• BSEE/MS preferred in Electrical, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of circuit design experience for Masters and 5+ years for Bachelors.

• Good understanding of deep submicron process issues and circuit design is required and exposure to wide range of digital and analog circuit design techniques

• Hands on experience running Spice and experience with timing analysis/closure is required.

• Hands on experience in design and analysis of low power circuits (power gating, decaps, multi-vt, etc..)

• Basic understanding and experience working with layout (drc, lvs) and PnR tools is a plus.

• Experience with RTL, logic synthesis and verification is a plus and background with designing analog circuits such as ADC/DAC/PLL is a definite plus.

• Experience in design and analysis of security attacks and common detection circuits is a plus.

• Proficiency in scripting language, such as, Python, Perl, Tcl, Make and automation methods/algorithms a certain plus.
