You will be the Development Senior
In addition, for the SAP Business Networks, you will also spearhead and own the Partner Engagement responsibilities, with co-innovation partners in the areas of Development, Architecture, and technical mentoring.
Role Requirements
- This is a Development Senior Manager role, and the potential candidate would work closely with other members of the team, teams across other SAP locations, co-innovation partners, and third-party vendors. The role of candidate may include, but is not limited to the activities listed below:
- Setting the vision and strategy for the team.
- Leading the teams and help them succeed in their career aspirations.
- Owning the end-to-end software development lifecycle – designing, leading implementation, and testing of new features within a fast paced and agile environment.
- Ensuring delivery of quality releases and ensuring execution as per project plans and delivery commitments
- Collaborating and communicating seamlessly with cross-functional teams – technology, business, and operations, to manage multiple projects.
- Defining collaboration models for the teams to work with different stakeholders, to ensure seamless delivery.
- Possessing a constructive and open style of communication aligning with our SCRUM approach and ASE techniques.
- Acting as a coach for your team members.
- Maintaining direct contact and aligning with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Working collaboratively with your main partners, who can be your peers in Engineering, SAP Chief Product Owner, and Solution Management to drive the planning and implementation of the product.
- Ensuring a healthy setup of the overall team including SAP-internal and Partner Scrum Teams.
- Upholding high-quality standards of the Product, together with the colleagues in your team and your counterparts in other locations.
- Exemplifying and embodying SAP Values and serving as a role model to the team
What you bring (maximum character count 750):
- 10+ years as Development Manager managing Product Engineering teams
- Expertise in managing multiple and complex third-party and partner engagements
- B.Tech/M.Tech /MCA in a related technical discipline
- MBA / Coaching certifications would be an added bonus
- Prior experience in Java, Cloud, BTP, Containers, Data Analytics, AI/ML needed to manage the teams work on these technologies and related tools
- Strong SAP experience in multiple business and technical processes
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
