This position focuses on the development of Optical and Imaging simulation capabilities and applications to inform design decisions of new technologies and new optical designs. It will require the candidate to work together with cross-functional team members to develop end-to-end simulation solutions, validate simulation pipelines, deploy simulation algorithms to internal cloud computing platforms, perform data analysis on results and generate reports for review, and support internal simulation tools across projects, including training and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Optics, Imaging Science, Physics, EE, CS, ME, or a relevant field of study
- 3+ years of related work or relevant academic experience
- Programming experience in the following, but not limited to: Python, Matlab, C/C++/C#, or related
- MS/Ph.D. degree in Optics, Imaging Science, Physics, EE, CS, ME, or relevant field of study
- Experience with imaging and/or optical systems design.
- Experience with end-to-end modeling and simulating optical systems using Zemax, Code V, etc.
- Experience working cross-functionally with a variety of technical teams and internal partners.
- Experience with Cloud Computing
