- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 5 years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., TensorFlow), artificial intelligence, deep learning or natural language processing.
- Experience with designing, developing, launching, and managing production models with applications to text, image, or multimodal and experience distilling solutions and drive designs from sets of requirements.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
- Experience with taxonomic classification across modalities.
- Experience with unsupervised models (i.e., BERT, MUM-style architecture, etc.).
- Experience with evaluating models in production environments.
- Excellent technical judgment and ability to balance short and long-term tradeoffs and tensions.
