Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing a compliance strategy; both Honeywell HSE Management System, and regulatory requirements at a manufacturing location.
  • Heavy focus on injury reduction through culture and behaviors initiatives.
  • Leading the execution of the Honeywell Thermal Solutions (HTS) HSE vision and mission through deployment of the HSE ISC Management System.
  • Partner with the site leadership team to achieve the HTS ISC goals and objectives.
  • Ability to reduce the risk profile in Muncie by identifying gaps through self-assessment, audits, GEMBAs, and 3rd party inspections.
  • Strong ability to use Honeywell Operating System/Lean Practices and Principles to develop, deploy, and continuously improve HSE results and improve efficiencies.
  • Work in concert with Industrial Automation (IA) HSEPS to assure consistent and effective auditing of regulatory requirements and Honeywell Level 1 and Level 2 Standards.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering or related technical field.
  • At least 8 years of progressive health, safety, and environmental experience, with increased responsibility.
  • Leadership experience in managing people.
  • Knowledge and experience in manufacturing environment.

  • Firm understanding of OSHA’s standard as well as their Voluntary Protection Program (VPP)

  • Ability to work autonomously to achieve organizational objectives
  • Mature judgment and decision-making ability with strategic and tactical HSE experience
