In this role you will: - Engage and entice potential new users in sports industry. - Monitor emerging sports talent and draft picks. - Create and execute strategic seeding opportunities timed to major sporting events. - Identify strategic relationship opportunities in culturally important sports such as surfing and skateboarding.- And, keep a pulse on emerging cultural insights and share trends to bring inspiration and new perspectives into the Buzz organization.
- 7+ years of experience working in a similar capacity, or in roles that deal directly with sports marketing, celebrities and athletes
- Previous experience leading successful sports marketing programs
- Confidence to engage at the highest level of influence and speaking to talent and internal executives
- Understanding of popular culture and a wide range of cultural touch points
- Strong knowledge base and personal use of Apple products and software
- Collaborative — externally and internally — with proven ability to build and maintain successful relationships
- You are a self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced, and time-constrained environment
- Comfortable with high volumes of information and quickly breaking into actions needed
- Experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information with integrity
- Excellent communication and written skills
