You will be the recognized analyst responsible for processing payroll. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent analytical skills with the ability to spot numerical errors. Ultimately, you will help us maintain an efficient payroll process that complies with all federal and state regulations.

In this role, you will…
  • Process monthly payroll, including calculations for salaries, social security contributions, deductions, overtime, and other variables.
  • Ensure compliance with all fiscal, labor, and social security obligations, guaranteeing that all processes are completed within established deadlines.
  • Address employee inquiries related to salaries, benefits, vacations, 13th-month salary, terminations, and other payroll-related matters.
  • Monitor changes in labor and tax legislation, ensuring company compliance.
  • Process vacations, contractual terminations, and calculate severance pay.
  • Manage and submit obligations to eSocial.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new employees, including the issuance of contractual documentation.
  • Prepare reports and accruals.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll, statutory contributions, and income tax.
  • Provide accurate support to the accounting department for payroll-related items.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Review time sheets and attendance records, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Manage PO for payroll vendors.
  • Manage contracts and monthly reports for apprentices and interns.
  • Provide support for Latin American countries.
  • Manage and maintain physical and digital employee records.
In this role, you’ll need…
  • Possess a relevant bachelor's degree.
  • At least 1+ year of Brazilian payroll experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office with strong MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent understanding of taxes and other statutory regulations pertaining to payroll.
  • Proven experience with the Totvs/Protheus Human Resources Management module.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, accuracy, and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Spanish (verbal & written) required; English proficiency is a plus.
