Ensure that services provided meet the firm’s audit quality standards and comply with relevant statutory regulations and professional guidelines.
Engaging with clients to understand their audit needs and provide insights on best practices and compliance issues as well as various stakeholders to discuss findings and address any concerns.
Developing and delivering training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members regarding professional auditing and accounting standards and best practices.
Identifying and mitigating risks associated with service delivery, including compliance and reputational risks.
Identifying and assessing financial risks that could impact the organization’s financial statements or operational effectiveness. This involves analyzing financial data and understanding the business environment.
Stay updated on changes in auditing standards, regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and enhance audit quality.
Job Requirements
Degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 10 years of relevant work experience in auditing or accounting environment
Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and accounting standards
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a high level of attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and drive outcomes
