Description
As a software framework and UI engineer in Input Experience, you’ll develop system wide user experiences and third-party APIs, primarily for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, but also other platforms. Developing entails the creative process of defining a feature, the actual development of it, testing, and bug fixing. For development, our projects are written in a combination of Objective-C and Swift/SwiftUI. You will work with cross-functional partners responsible for design, manual and automated testing, as well as other engineering teams. Finally, you will not only experience the Apple culture, you will help define it!
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience building projects using Objective-C or Swift on iOS, macOS, and/or tvOS SDKs
  • Proven programming fundamentals and knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Exposure to modern software development standard methodologies, spanning: source control, unit testing, and debugging
  • Good sense of UI design and a passion to focus on every detail, large and small
  • Excels at solving and debugging hard problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoys working with, learning from, and mentoring teammates from different disciplines and backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, or a closely related field
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $58.61 and $88.29/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
