The Role:As, your primary responsibility will be toour digital marketing & comms consulting team, shaping its structure, processes, and commercializing the offering. You will be responsible for developing digital growth strategies, driving innovation, and ensuring that digital marketing efforts align with business goals. Team Building & Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing digital marketing team from scratch, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Define team roles, recruit top talent, and establish the processes and tools necessary to execute best-in-class digital strategies.
- Serve as the key architect of the team’s digital vision, aligning strategies with EY’s broader business objectives and ensuring cohesive execution across all functions.
- Inspire and mentor team members, fostering professional development and growth as the team scales.
Commercial responsibilities:
- Develop the commercial plan for the digital marketing function, ensuring efficient allocation of time and resources while maximizing growth and profitability.
- Manage P&L responsibilities for the marketing team by monitoring financial performance, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, and implementing strategies to maximize profitability.
- Drive business development of marketing projects by seeking out and evaluating new revenue streams, identify potential business opportunities and formulate go-to-market strategies for our marketing services.
- Optimize resource allocation by evaluating project ROI and identifying growth domains within the marketing landscape.
Digital Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and implement innovative, data-driven digital marketing strategies across SEO, SEM, email, social media, content marketing, and more.
- Drive growth through performance marketing and martech platforms, ensuring that strategies are scalable and sustainable as the team and business grow.
- Take a hands-on approach to the execution of digital campaigns in the early stages, while progressively transitioning into a leadership role as the team expands.
- Continuously identify opportunities for innovation, staying on top of emerging digital trends and tools.
Martech & Analytics:
- Establish and optimize a best-in-class martech stack through our partnerships with platform providers such as Adobe, PEGA, Microsoft, leveraging automation and analytics tools to drive efficiency and results.
- Lead the development of data-driven decision-making processes, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are tracked and used to refine strategies.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights, optimizing campaigns for user acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
Go-to-market and Communications:
- Support the go-to-market of our clients new value propositions and products.
- Define and execute internal and external communication strategies for our clients.
- Be the key advocate for digital marketing initiatives, ensuring consistent communication of goals and progress to senior leadership, clients, and other departments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing or growth marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally with experience building a team from the ground up.
- Proven ability to develop and implement scalable digital marketing strategies that drive growth in a consulting or fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in martech platforms, performance marketing, and data analytics.
- Strong experience with multi-channel marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email, social media, and customer lifecycle marketing.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset, with a proven track record of leveraging data to inform decision-making and optimize digital marketing efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
