As a Risk Governance Associate within the EMEA Private Bank Risk Management team you will help provide an independent risk oversight of the business activities and ensure that the business is appropriately implementing risk-related regulatory obligations.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform review and risk assessment as required of business change initiatives;
- Provide risk analysis as part of the broader risk oversight and related regulatory obligations;
- Support with related risk business management and governance activities including preparation and review of risk management reports;
- Coordinate cross-functional risk management projects and deliverables;
- Identify key risks and challenges and propose applicable mitigating solutions;
- Drive critical business or regulatory risk deliverables assigned;
- Prepare presentations and any other documentation required by the integrated team;
- Great attention to details and timely execution under compelling priorities;
- Fast learning and provide the business with credible challenge.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or related fields;
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Services or Risk Management would be a plus;
- Fluent in English;
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership: must be diligent, self-motivated and self-driven get the work done; have a risk mind-set, and be confident to make a risk judgment, articulate it, and challenge it;
- Able to learn fast and work under compelling priorities;
- Intellectually curious, motivated and willingness to learn;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- IT skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Extremely organized and detailed-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy;
