Finance Intern

: Remote / Part-time

What you will be doing:

• Identify and resolve inconsistencies, duplicates, and incomplete entries in financial datasets
• Standardize and validate data to ensure alignment with corporate policies and accounting principles
• Enter and update financial data accurately, maintaining organized, accessible records
• Monitor and ensure ongoing consistency and accuracy in data entry processes
• Document cleanup processes, corrections, and best practices for future reference
• Generate reports on data trends, accuracy, and improvement opportunities, providing regular updates to the team
• Conduct quality checks to maintain data accuracy and recommend enhancements to data management practices
• Collaborate across departments to ensure data consistency and integration.

Must have for this role:

• Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and basic database management
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, with a keen eye for spotting inconsistencies
• Ability to interpret financial data
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work remotely in Pacific time zone hours

Nice to have:

• 3D printing experience
• Prior internship experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
