- Use basic electronics knowledge and engineering discipline to complete engineering tasks
- Identify opportunities for repair cost reduction and manage projects from solution development through deployment
- Expand avionics repair capability by developing and deploying new repair processes, and interact with the entry-into-service process for repair of newly developed products - Interact with avionics product design engineering, test design engineering, and service center staff to resolve issues with product modification, upgrades, investigations, and repair of test equipment.
- Actively seek out and identify areas to standardize avionics repair and test procedures across sites for productivity improvements
- Perform avionics bench test system troubleshooting and repairs, and implement engineering solutions to prevent test equipment down-time
