We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative Construction Project Manager in the Bronx, NY who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running like they should. In this role, you’ll lead coordination of multiple various construction projects in an occupied healthcare facility. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you’ll provide oversight of construction activities on a major multi-phase hospital renovation project. You’ll monitor contractor adherence to safety plans, facility safety, and ICRA requirements. You’ll coordinate ongoing work with the facility engineering team daily and track progress of work for adherence to contractor schedules. You will be responsible to drive schedule, mitigate risks, and resolve site issues to keep contractors progressing to meet schedule requirements.
You’ll review monthly contractor invoices and provide recommendations for payment as well as review contractor forecasts and monthly schedule updates and provide feedback. You’ll review contractor’s change orders and provide recommendations for justification and cost and monitor project documentation including submittals, RFIs, bulletins, contract changes, and invoices. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your internal and external team and the surrounding environment. As a passionate leader, you’ll take ownership of the project and leverage your people management skills to safely deliver quality projects, on schedule and within budget.

Bachelor of Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
10-15+ years’ experience as a Construction Manager with responsibility for three (3) or more phases of construction namely pre-design, design, procurement, construction, and post-construction phases
Strong construction contract knowledge and ability to mitigate risk
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications with strong working knowledge of ICRA and ILSM standards, building codes, NFPA, FGI Guidelines and OSHA requirements
Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, planning, delegation, coaching, communication (verbal, written and interpersonal)
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills
OSHA 40
Ideally, you’ll also have:
5+ years’ experience in healthcare construction/rehabilitation projects
Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Professional Engineer (PE) credential
