Your impact

Your primary responsibilities will include client-facing delivery in leadership roles, responsible for overall work progress, technical performance and client and stakeholder satisfaction.

You will focus on:

  • Development of delivery capability for electrical transmission and distribution engineering design projects for utility, industrial and municipal clients,
  • Execution of market strategy to support Jacobs’s growth
  • Collaborating with our Growth & Sales teams on pursuits of strategic importance to the firm. This will include extensive client dialogue, team building, and development of differentiating strategies.
  • You will also continue development of our HVDC Practice Across North America. You will work in collaboration with our global and North Americas Teams, to help our continued grow across the continent.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide leadership to the T&D team, creating a culture of high trust and high performance in line with Jacobs’ values.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term growth strategies for the transmission and distribution sector, aligning them with Jacobs’ goals and market trends.
  • Project Portfolio Management: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of transmission and distribution projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency in project delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks that may impact project timelines, costs, or quality, and develop appropriate contingency plans.
  • Team Development: Build a high-performing team by recruiting, training, and developing talented professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
