Expected travel:
As an Engineering Manager for the API Management Teams, you will lead and mentor a Development Team, which will work on a specific capability area – runtime, design-time, analytics, AI - of API Management.
In your role you will:
- Manage the team by building execution plans and make operational decisions to align with the overall Integration Suite org strategy.
- Make day to day decisions with the team and work collaboratively towards the team goal.
- Build strategic partnerships with key decision makers in the organization.
- Demonstrate servant leadership and drive the culture of innovation anchored in AI while balancing the backlogs of existing large customer base
- Actively share information to enable and empower the team to take informed decisions
- University Degree (B.Tech or M.Tech) in Computer Science or related engineering subject, with 12-16 years of relevant industry experience.
- 3-4 years of proven experience in successfully leading teams in a managerial role, will be an added advantage
- Proven technical leadership as a tech lead, product owner, or architect, enabling effective backlog definition and execution to achieve delivery goals.
- Sound understanding of programming, building scalable enterprise grade Cloud Native Services on the latest Technology Stack or Web Applications using cutting edge Web Technologies
- Sound understanding of major Hyperscalers like AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Good understanding of DevOps and API Management is an added advantage
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and the ability to drive topics forward
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrate curiosity and innovation in enabling future solutions in your area of work.
- Contribute to development with the team members and actively participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions.
- Be responsible for driving technology and engineering best practices in the teams and champion their adoption. Mentor developers on software design, coding and test practices and form a holistic mentoring.
