What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Work with Technology, Design, Construction, Operations, and other supporting functions in order to scope and drive designs for deployment of materials production processes
- Determine project specifications and acquire the necessary materials for completion
- Develop scope and define parameters for project design and implementation
- Define and drive tasks to be performed by the cross-functional team
- Identify creative ways to overcome obstacles and meet the schedule despite setbacks
- Drive review and selection of external equipment vendors and integrators for delivery of selected manufacturing project scope
- Coordinate internal and external engineering findings to de-risk plant design and optimize plant operations and availability
- Evidence of exceptional ability, including a strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and demonstrated ability to leverage this understanding to solve challenging technical problems
- 2+ years in manufacturing environment, in a mix of engineering and project roles. Experience working on the development of chemical processing, or hydrometallurgical systems is a plus
- Ability to work and communicate cross-functionally, including interfacing with suppliers and third party firms
- Proven ability to operate under pressure while managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, occasionally requiring extended hours
- Aptitude to learn and incorporate new technologies
- Ability to identify issues and develop corrective measures to resolve
- Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills
