Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize user interfaces using React, TypeScript
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality products
• Implement testing for your code to ensure reliability and performance
• Continuously improve your skills and stay updated with the latest industry trends
• Write secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with peer guidance
• Interpret architecture and design representations as well as nonfunctional requirements to develop secure, stable software against a defined architecture
• Actively apply automation to reduce manual toil in the Software Development Life Cycle
• Gather, analyze, and synthesize basic data sets in service of technical troubleshooting and generating insights to drive continuous improvements
• Break down routine technical tasks to troubleshoot and solve issues
• Add to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
• Partner with information modelling teams on firmwide logical data models

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Experience in fronted and backend development
• Experience in Python and React developer
• Baseline knowledge of software, applications and technical processes within a given technical discipline
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, with a passion to build an inclusive and innovative culture
• Demonstrable ability to code in one or more languages
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
• Proficiency in developmental toolsets
• Basic knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Working Knowledge of cloud technologies and modern front-end technologies like React
• Agile based software development experience
• Prior financial or banking experience is a plus
• Knowledge of AWS is added advantage
