As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be responsible for defining security standard, providing security guidance, and developing security guardrails to secure GenAI products and services at Amazon scale.
Key job responsibilities- Research new security threats for GenAI systems and mechanisms for defending against such threats, to continuously improve our security guidance and paved path solutions

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information security, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering
- Experience with Large Language Model (LLM) security including attack techniques and mitigation methods for LLMs
- 3+ years of programming in Python, Java, C++ or similar language experience

- Experience with multimodal GenAI systems, and attack techniques and mitigation methods for such systems
- Experience translating business needs into technical requirements
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving ability and the ability to work in ambiguous and constantly evolving environment
- Strong interest in researching and developing new technologies with high customer impact
