About this role:
Within EFT we are seeking an Information Security Senior Engineering Manager to join our Data Protection Engineering team. This Senior Manager will be responsible for Data Protection, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and related technologies. This role is a key liaison with architecture, development, database, operations, risk & compliance, and Line of Business (LOB) stakeholder teams, as well as external service providers. Experience with all aspects of Data Loss Prevention including architecture, data sourcing and analysis, implementation of DLP inspection, and strategic planning are foundational to the role.
In this role, you will:
- Provide leadership
- Manage a team of Information Security Engineers, DBAs, and support staff tasked with installing and maintaining the DLP and User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) applications used across 400K workstations enterprise-wide on Windows & Mac.
- Manage the engineering, architecture, implementation, automation, documentation, and process integration for the data protection technology solutions, policies, andcontrols.
- Scan, monitor and inspect data that is being downloaded, copied, printed, shared, or transmitted.
- Inspect corporate email, application email, SMTP relay, fax, web and print.
- Modify, redirect, or block messages based on sensitive content or other message attributes.
- Monitor and protect data in motion and data at rest.
- Fine tune policies to balance security and end-user productivity.
- reduce false positives and false negatives.
- Continuously improve Data Protection.
- Drive strategic objectives and initiatives.
- Prioritize work, establish, track, and communicate key results.
- Engage with Cybersecurity, Insider Threat, Information Management Office, Compliance, Legal, and other teams to manage riskand continuouslyimprove
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years' Experience with all aspects of Data Loss Prevention including architecture, strategic planning, and leadership.
- 3+ years of experience managing a team within Information Technology
- 3+ years of experience collaborating and negotiating with vendors and with executive leaders in Cyber Security, Legal, Control, and Risk.
- 5+ years of experience with Security Tools such as Broadcom, Proofpoint, Zscaler, Splunk, Purview, Defender, Sentinel, Chronicle, etc.
- 5+ years of experience with User Behavior Analytics (UBA, UEBA), Exact Data Matching (EDM), Indexed Document Matching (IDM), and Described Content Matching (DCM)
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Experience with incident response, risk assessment, and management.

Pay Range
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
