Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of Solutions Engineers across the Central US, ensuring they have the tools, training, and support needed to excel.
• Collaborate with regional sales leadership to define go-to-market strategies and ensure alignment on customer success objectives.
• Guide the SE team in managing technical discovery, solution demonstrations, and PoC execution.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for complex customer engagements, providing hands-on support as needed.
• Foster a culture of learning and innovation within the SE team, ensuring they stay ahead of industry trends and Couchbase product advancements.
• Drive continuous improvement by sharing best practices, lessons learned, and feedback with the broader Couchbase SE organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, consulting, or customer-facing technical role .
• 2+ years of experience managing technical teams .
• Deep knowledge of modern database architectures , including NoSQL and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise application development .
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and business stakeholders.
