Principal, Risk Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Risk and process consulting to one or more application team and provide advice and guidance as required to support change management and user readiness

• Ensure adherence to internal policies and standards related to application projects

• Build a management control program around all controls and standards

• Monitor user sentiment, process health and coach application teams accordingly

• Assist teams with project planning activities for change management and user readiness

• Develop and leverage key relationships with stakeholders that enable collaboration across the enterprise

• Lead change control efforts at the process level to ensure impacts are appropriately assessed, documented and implemented

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience

• At least 3 years of experience in Project or Risk Management

• At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Project Management experience leading cross functional projects and programs in Risk

• 4+ years of experience supporting financial, accounting, and reporting application teams

• 4+ years of experience working in an Agile environment

• 4+ years of experience using Jira

• 3+ years of experience in Financial Services

McLean, VA: $117,300 - $133,900 for Principal Risk Specialist Richmond, VA: $106,700 - $121,700 for Principal Risk Specialist Riverwoods, IL: $106,700 - $121,700 for Principal Risk Specialist Wilmington, DE: $106,700 - $121,700 for Principal Risk SpecialistThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
