Asa Heat Treat Pyrometry SCA Engineer here at Honeywell, you will use yourexpertise in Heat Treat Pyrometry to ensure the accuracy and reliability oftemperature measurement and control systems in our aerospace special processes.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Pyrometrystandards, provide technical support for Special Processes equipmentcalibrations, and to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customerrequirements. Join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed todelivering high-quality products and maintaining the highest standards of safetyand quality. You will report directly to our Special Processes Engineering Manager andyou'll work out of our Mexicali, Mexico location. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our Heat Treatprocesses by ensuring accurate temperature measurement and control, reducingprocess variability, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and customerrequirements.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop,maintain, and implement Pyrometry standards and procedures for Heat Treat processesaccording to mainly AMS 2750 and AC7102 NADCAP checklists
  • Provide Engineering support for SpecialProcesses equipment calibrations and validations to ensure accurate temperaturemeasurement
  • Provide technical support andtroubleshooting for Special Processes Pyrometry-related issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements
  • Conduct training sessions to educate SpecialProcesses personnel on Pyrometry best practices
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or arelated field
  • Advanced English
  • 10+ years of experience in Heat TreatPyrometry, NADCAP/Special Processes audits or a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of Pyrometrystandards (AMS 2750), NADCAP requirements, and industry best practices
WE VALUE
  • Master's degree in Engineering or a relatedfield
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturingor a similar industry
  • Knowledge of industry regulations andcustomer requirements related to Pyrometry
  • Excellent problem-solving andanalytical skills
