As a Senior POC DevOps Engineer at NICE, Nexidia, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing proof of concept environments. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure successful integration and deployment of our solutions. This role demands a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer handling abilities.

How will you make an impact?

• Environment Setup and Management: Design, configure, and maintain Windows-based environments for POC purposes.
• Data Handling and Transformation: Manage data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes to prepare datasets for analysis.
• Microsoft SQL Queries: Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to manage and manipulate data within our solutions.
• Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Python, etc.) to automate tasks and enhance POC processes.
• Customer Interaction: Work directly with clients to understand their needs and build a data acquisition strategy.
• Requirements Discussion: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to discuss and document process requirements, ensuring alignment with technical solutions.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for POC setups, configurations, and processes.

Have you got what it takes?

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in a DevOps role, particularly in a POC or customer-facing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and network fundamentals.
• Experience with SFTP, VPN, and firewall configurations.
• Proficiency in data transformation tools and techniques.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft SQL Server, including writing and optimizing queries.
• Scripting experience with languages such as PowerShell, Python, or similar.
• Excellent communication and customer handling skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
