Key Responsibilities & Tasks
- In this role you will be focused on SAP’s Agribusiness solution offerings , facilitating the implementation and support to enhance the clients’ business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.
- You are expected to have deep knowledge and understanding of SAP technical & functional capabilities offered in Agribusiness area as well as Agri Business processes and Agribusiness Industry Best practices.
- Core focus solution is SAP Agricultural Contract Management and the know abouts of its standard Integration with other SAP solution offerings like Commodity Management solutions (Logistics & Risk Management) and BTE (Bulk Transportation Extension).
- Drives business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions
- Maps business processes to solution requirements
- Helps position disruptive business innovation
- Supports the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise
- Drives change management to achieve business transformation objectives
- Supports end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards
- Participates in transition planning of customer solution landscapes
- Drives deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries
- Supports pre-sales activities
- Performs solution reviews and feasibility studies
- Supports escalated projects
- Occasionally takes over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery
- Supports line manager(s) in people development tasks
- Delivers customer workshops and trainings
- Supports in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success
- Introduces SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content and experience
- Creates project documentation and documentation of delivered services
- Supports the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or supports updates to the portfolio
- Supports in solution testing and issue resolution > Can mentor business process consultants
Educational requirements:
- Minimum educational requirement – Graduation from a reputed institute
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) from reputed institutes preferred, although not mandatory
- Potential candidate should have one of the following experiences
- Experience as a Business end user role in a reputed customer belonging to Agribusiness Industry with Good understanding on the end to end Agribusiness processes and IT systems capabilities supporting those processes
- Candidates with an Implementation experience of SAP solutions supporting the Agribusiness and expertise in one of the SAP Agribusiness solution components such as Agricultural contractual management or Agribusiness Trading*
- Candidates with good experience in Agribusiness domain gained by leading logistics related functions in any reputed Customer company dealing in Agri commodities business
*SAP Certification in one of the SAP Logistics modules like SD, MM or PP is added advantage
Domain expertise:
- Should have been associated with Agri Business Industry cusotmers in IT/Functional areas
- Should have very good understanding of SAP Cloud Portfolio and Industry cloud applications.
- Should be able to relate to SAP’s solution portfolio changes relevant to the industry.
- Solution architecting abilities in the Agri Business Industry with any expertise in any of logistics areas.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Application specific expert consulting (for a specific application: creation of business blueprint, Implementation based on a blueprint, creation of test cases, test scheduling and execution, key user training, go live support, and post go live support)
- Supporting escalated projects
- Performance of feasibility studies / solution reviews
- Support of pre-sales activities (license and consulting)
- Takes responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks
Solution expertise:
- Should have worked in at least 4 end-to-end implementations with experience in leading the SAP ACM module implementation as a solution lead.
- Preferable to have Solution expertise in the areas of SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Plan to Produce (Cloud or On-Premises) expected with certifications.

- Strong Analytical skills and self-driven.
- A team player with the ability to work well with other team members across different locations with exceptional interpersonal, team building and coordination skills.
