This Technical Expert role within Closures & HLM, Vehicle Hardware Engineering, Body Exterior, is an individual contributor leadership role responsible for technical content, strategy and processes related to overall closures system execution, analysis, and validation. This includes model-based system engineering for dynamic closures to ensure robust delivery of functional and attribute requirements (e.g. door closing efforts, power closure system function, movable glass system function, mechanism system stack-up analysis, etc.). In this role, you will serve as the technical expert for all closure system interface related matters. You will lead all technical aspects of global product strategy, including development, ownership and deployment of model based analytical tools, verification & validation methods, launch/sign-off and ongoing support/quality assurance of products in the field. In addition, you will lead technical development of global team members, oversee foundation document creation and enforcement of prevent recurrence actions.
