Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma , process improvement, value stream design , or a relevant domain area
- Strong understanding of global supply chain management and analyze processes to identify and implement improvements
- Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement tools, systems thinking and capacity planning
- Proven ability to lead change and influence without authority in a matrixed environment
- Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment
- Drives to continue to develop technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of the product
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices, with a background in industrial, lean, or manufacturing engineering
- Experience working with international teams and understanding of global supply chain dynamics
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions for process improvement and experience in lean product delivery
