8+ years of experience developing systems/software for large business environments
5+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems, management products, or business applications
Full-stack development experience with AI technologies/tools and apply it to user experiences or backend solutions
Experience with AI technologies like SageMaker, Vert.x, LangChain, Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlow, Python
Experience with at least one of the following:
Front-end technologies like React, Angular, SwiftUI (iOS), Kotlin (Android)
Back-end technologies like Java, Typescript, Spring, Express (NodeJS)
Prior working experience in a cloud computing environment like AWS/GCP is highly desired
Prior experience working in teams that have built AI native applications for 1+ years
BS/MS in Computer Science or related area.

Builders should not be shackled by lack of understanding of capabilities in the platform or the technology stacks that power it. In order to deliver and end to end solutions for customers, they must demonstrate not only on vertical layers of the stack but also horizontal integration across capabilities (front end → services → eventing → batch operations → data processing → analytics AND invoices → accounting → taxes).
Product Engineer
Builders are not just coders, they are problem seekers who are empathetic towards end users problems/needs. They feel a deep sense of ownership for the product features and partner with product management partners to find product market fit.
AI Proficiency
Builders are focused on applying AI to customer problems and must therefore have a solid understanding of data science, machine learning and the tools that integrate these solutions. AI Engineering is a new (upcoming) sub discipline in software engineering that the builder has to demonstrate.
