What You'll Do

1. Support security operations at the EMEA HQ building in Amsterdam and for all locations and staff in cities across Northern Europe. You will also assist across Northern and Eastern Europe when necessary.
2. Under the guidance of the Security Manager, coordinate the response to incidents and provide in-person support as required.
3. Address threats towards company staff, assets & operations as required.
4. Inform key stakeholders on security principles and implementation.
5. Implement physical security strategy in alignment with business goals.
6. Maintain strong relationships and effective communication across all regional business operations.
7. Develop and deliver security awareness and education programs and materials

What You'll Need

1. 2+ years experience in a security management role.
2. Recent hands-on experience throughout the region is advantageous.
3. Creative ‘can do’ attitude towards problem-solving.
4. Experience assessing risk, identifying and deploying appropriate mitigation strategies.
5. Ability to manage security challenges in a constantly changing fast-paced environment.
6. Experience in stakeholder management.
7. Comfortable with ambiguity.
8. Able to scale with the business and thrive in a rapid growth environment.
9. Experience with contract security services.
10. Capable of fostering a culture of Trust, Honesty and Integrity.
11. Travel as and when required to get things done.
12. Excellent written and oral English language skills are a must.

Bonus Points If

1. Security management qualifications.
2. Proficiency in any other languages used in the region would be a preference.
