Your Role and Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Develop client interests into qualified leads and wins for technology offering. Bring ROI from Marketing investments of IBM. Hunting skills. Going deep into consultative selling, unearthing client’s business problems and positioning IBM solution.
- Account level deep dive Identify, develop, and nurture multiple contacts and hunt for opportunities by developing a digital approach of multi touch, deploy scale and industry best practice in outbound campaigns.
- Qualify prospects based on established BANT criteria prior to passing validated lead to appropriate IBM territory/ digital sellers
- Expertly research companies and contacts via the internet and other sales resources and harness the power of digital tools to be successful
- Identify customer business needs and articulate both the value and differentiator of IBM solutions and how prospects can address their needs
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Technical, and Sales reps to plan, execute and optimise
- Executing outbound business development activities for specific offerings with an emphasis on cross-selling and upselling to the existing IBM client base
- Maintaining up-to-date offering knowledge. Through continuous personal development, you will become a subject matter expert and act as an influencer and trusted advisor for clients.
- Having a social media presence to promote the IBM brand and to engage, interact and influence clients.
- Putting your client first, being prepared to tackle challenges, solve problems, and work with your cross-functional team of subject matter experts to get things done
- Actively feedback into marketing planning to create effective campaigns.
- Follow up with opportunity owner to push leads progression until closure.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Basic understanding of the depth and breadth of IBM’s portfolio.
- Ability to engage new/competitive clients in value-add business conversations
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients(internal and external) at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to actively listen and determine needs.
