Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer
- Can demonstrate ability to write, compile and debug software written in C, Objective-C or Swift
- Demonstrates understanding of multi-threaded programming, synchronization and multi-process IPC
- Experience shipping software to customers
- Experience in the planning, design, implementation, integration, test and maintenance phases of software development
- Demonstrates understanding of fundamental computer science concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior professional experience doing system design on software which had a focus on user privacy or security
- Can verbally communicate technical information clearly
- Experience developing developer-facing frameworks and libraries as well as backing daemons
- Experience being the technical lead on a software project which spanned multiple teams
- Experience mentoring and coaching junior engineers through code and design reviews
- iOS or macOS programming experience
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
