JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Communicate technical information of a moderate to complex level specific to segment/area of responsibility, in timely, constructive manner to stakeholders.
  • Act as an ambassador (professional, accurate, technically reliable) for the organization to leadership and customers.
  • Contribute to negotiations with external parties to drive agreements on concepts, practices, processes, or approach. Listen openly, with a focus on learning andcustomer satisfaction, and leverages areas of expertise to influence internal/external stakeholder direction. Presents effectively to varied audiences.
  • Communicatetechnical information competently and can respond to multiple technical questions beyond surface.
  • Demonstratecontinued growth in terms of presence and agility during presentations.
  • Serveas advisor/mentor in areas of product or process expertise to less experienced.
  • Provide technical guidance and project leadership on moderate to complex analytical products in a clear, comprehensible manner to multiple levels of stakeholders.
  • Establish and applymethodology to new concepts and recommendenhancements to advance projects and processes. - Identifyand proposetechnical improvements using engineering knowledge and principals. Scientist: Participatein establishing operating procedures on new products and components. Planand performtesting and development programs and useadvanced statistical and scientific methods to address and resolve technical problems. Designand/or developunique equipment or special instruments to meet specific requirements.
  • Develop solutions to complex problems. Lead teams in problem-solving efforts. Use advanced statistical and scientific methods to address or resolve engineering and production problems.
  • Plan and execute project subtasks to meet customer specifications. Review overall project status and risks. Create and execute plans for project status improvements.
You Must Have
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Physics, or equivalent.
  • 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to travel as determined by the needs of the business
  • Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • United States Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).

  • Possess the ability to generate accurate and precise analytical data, interpret/analyze data, prepare formal reports, and make formal presentations of results, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • May lead teams in problem-solving efforts.
