What You'll Do

• Analyze data and generate insights: Identify trends and build meaningful recommendations based on the analysis, research, customer needs, feedback, and comments from our teams.
• Observe and reflect: As a critical thinker and problem solver observe and understand current operations, processes, and trends. Ask the right questions, and call out the risks and opportunities.
• Report: Develop presentations, reports, and analysis to craft strategy and execution. Own business reporting and team enablement across G&R to increase transparency and define strategic direction for all teams.
• Plan: Work with regional and global teams to decide what gets prioritized and why. Help define and track OKR’s, KPI’s, governance structures, and build cases for high impact projects. Plug into Uber's financial and product planning process.
• Ideate: Build innovative, scalable strategies, processes and solutions that enable the growth or efficiency across Grocery and Retail.
• Collaborate: Work with cross-functional and senior collaborators across product, operations, marketing, finance, legal, and external partners to gain alignment, and broker effective working. Report to senior leadership on the progress of workstreams, and be the first to flag risks and sensitivities.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional work experience
• Strong project management skills
• Strong Excel / data management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical and structured thinking - You have a natural curiosity and confidence to seek out answers, and propose solutions where there may not yet be an answer!
• Analytical - You love SQL and consider yourself to be an expert in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Communication - Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting data & insights to a diverse audience.
• Great Teammate - Collaborates and communicates effectively with cross-functional teams in a constantly evolving, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines.

• Business Savvy - Basic financial proficiency; comfortable understanding P&Ls.
• Strategy / High growth experience - 2+ years' experience in consulting or strategy work, project or operations management, or investment banking or high growth technology company

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$124,000 per year - USD$137,000 per year.
