Key Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Technical implementation involving full stack solutions.
  • Participation in development teams while staying hands-on and involved in day-to-day development, code reviews, best practices, and mentorship of junior developers on your team.
  • Thought leadership brings experience and skill to solve technical problems and provides innovative solutions across the full stack (front-end, back-end), focusing on the development, customization, and optimization of digital and cloud-based solutions.
  • Assist with translating user stories and requirements into technical designs, tasks, and functional code.
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of new and current systems, including considerations such as security, reliability, and scalability.
  • Participated in end-to-end agile software delivery by leading sprint planning, product requirements grooming, sprint reviews with demo sessions, and retrospectives using agile frameworks like Scrum and SAFe.
  • See projects through to success from inception to launch and support in collaboration with EY and client project leadership.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Expertise in development tools like Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ, or similar
  • Expertise with version control systems and code collaboration platforms like GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or similar
  • Command-line proficiency and an ability to configure and manage systems, local and cloud based.
  • Expertise in at least one programming language, preferably with knowledge of both front-end and back-end languages with familiarity on modern full-stack development frameworks such as Java SprintBoot, .NET, React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Go or similar
  • Strong database skills, encompassing both relational and non-relational databases, SQL or NoSQL, coupled with experience in optimizing database queries.
  • Experience working with API’s
  • Self-sufficiency in issue identification, debugging and resolution, with the ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid US driver’s license, be willing and able to travel to fulfill client requirements. Travel expectations vary per client, can be up to 50%)

Ideally, you’ll also have as optional pluses:

  • Experience building cloud native/microservices architecture applications and platforms.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka).
  • Experience with user facing revenue generating platforms
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $101,500 to $186,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $121,700 to $211,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
