As a Platform Senior Architect you will work closely with application development teams and software engineers to design platform solutions for our next generation of compute products.

As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Designing the next generation of platform services for our compute products
• Evaluating proposed software systems and solutions against requirements
• Working closely with development and operational teams to identify dependencies and ensure smooth operations
• Developing and promote common software and systems building blocks
• Guiding the choice of third party technologies
• Acting as a technical mentor to the engineering team
• Communicating findings in clear and precise documentation and presentations

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Have a big picture approach
• Possess experience with cloud native architectures and products
• Have experience with the software development life cycle utilizing modern tools
• Have fluency in a systems programming language such as C++, Go or Rust
• Demonstrate solid experience using SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
