You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Key job responsibilities
In this role you will -Design, develop, and deploy scalable systems that enable global expansion of our DNS security and management services across AWS regions and availability zones.Build and integrate AI, ML and generative AI models for DNS threat detection, supporting real-time identification of anomalous or malicious domain traffic patterns.Lead the design and deployment of distributed systems for DNS security analytics and policy enforcement, balancing low latency with high throughput.Drive the development of configuration APIs, security features, and tools to manage DNS filtering policies and cross-account resource sharing.A day in the life
On a “typical” day you may -Dive deep in code implementing a system to optimize deployment of the service infrastructure in a newly launched AWS region.Throughout the day, you'll balance immediate operational needs with long-term architectural improvements, all while keeping customer experience at the forefront of your decisions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
