About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Affirmative Action Consultant to join the AA Consulting team. The Affirmative Action Consulting team is responsible for managing the Affirmative Action Program at Wells Fargo, to include but not limited to: Promoting education, awareness and a commitment to Affirmative Action (AA), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI); Developing and monitoring annual affirmative action plans, and providing expertise, support and strategic consultation to drive change and progress on affirmative action goals and areas of underutilization.
In this role, you will:
- Consult with business line leadership, Talent Acquisition, and other partners on annual affirmative action results and areas of underutilization
- Be responsible for managing designated affirmative action plans and establishing strategies for addressing affirmative action goals
- Develop approach for addressing identified issues, influences performance enhancements for goal progress, and consults on action plans
- Assess program effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements, implements corrective action, and escalates issues to Risk and Compliance as necessary
- Ensure alignment between Affirmative Action programs and enterprise Diversity Equity and Inclusion priorities
- Proactively work with Business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition partners on recruiting diversity strategies, including participation in outreach programs for diverse segments
- Leverage and utilize data to identify areas of opportunity to make progress on Affirmative Action goals
- Partner with internal and external resources for OFCCP audit and regulatory matters
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity administration, or Human Resources experience, Compliance, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated consulting experience with business line and senior leadership, Talent Acquisition, or other partners on HR programs and strategies
- Demonstrated ability to effectively operate in a dynamic environment and problem solve where there is ambiguity
- Experience developing and executing strategies or action plans that provide performance enhancements for goal progress
- Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practices, and procedures, including an understanding of legal and OFCCP requirements
- Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas within all levels of organization
- Experience analyzing data, identify inefficiencies and opportunities to streamline business processes, and implement change
- Experience in diversity, equity and Inclusion (DEI)
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Hybrid work schedule with an onsite presence at one of the locations listed below
