Your key responsibilities

The Global BMC Business Intelligence Architect’s responsibilties this will include but not be limited to:

• Create a deeper Global / Local partnership for Measurements & Insights
• Align BMC’s siloed approaches to analytics across Global, Area and Region teams
• Create avenues for leveraging existing business intelligence investments to meet the needs of Global and Regional BMC teams rather than bespoke new developments and continuing support of one-off solutions
• Provide consultative services and best practices to teams looking to expand their insights or support new requirements from their business partners
• Drive consistency in design, taxonomy and use of technology to improve integration, increase automation and reduce support costs
• Connect existing GDS technical teams, provide a bench capability to deploy on a project-by-project basis and upskill GDS teams to provide more proactive support
• Be a leading voice in a newly created BMC Business Intelligence Board where governance of business intelligence is created and executed
• Be the chair and resident subject matter specialist of a newly created BMC Data Architecture Board that will drive strategic and tactical data architechure decision as the needs of the business evolve
• Drive strategic business intelligence initiatives, including the development of a Global BMC Balanced Scorecard
• Identify, plan and execute initiatives that will enable a true BMC data strategy, establish true data goverance and integrate data sources from within and without the BMC technology stack
• Be the resident expert on EY’s data privacy, protection and risk policies and advise other BMC teams on how to execute projects in an efficient yet compliant and low risk manner

Experience Requirements:

• A minimum of 12 years of analytics and data architecture experience with a substantial portion of that being in a global B2B professional services firm
• Extensive experience interacting with C-suite executives and understanding their strategic priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement global strategic scorecards, visualization of tactical metrics, data warehouses and / or data lakes and complex ETL solutions
• Experience operating in large, matrixed organizations and navigating complex corporate structures.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple, geographically dispersed teams.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL databases, and data warehousing solutions.
• Experience with data modeling tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools.
• Understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
