Your impact
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Learn and engage in the design of maritime structures from urban waterfront parks to ports supporting offshore wind farm developments, and more
- Contribute to the preparation of design drawings, calculations, technical memorandums, technical specifications, and design reports for the successful delivery of our projects
- Perform site visits and field inspections and support in the preparation of field reports
- Work collaboratively across the various disciplines and markets within Jacobs to further develop your knowledge while being a key part of our project delivery teams projects
- Take part in Jacobs culture
Here's what you'll need
- In pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Design
- Must be at least a rising Junior
- Working knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- A minimum of 3.0 GPA
- A previous internship, or professional work experience related to your field of study
- Demonstrate experience with structural analysis programs such as STAAD, Etabs, SAP2000, or other finite-element based structural analysis program
- Self-driven time management and organizational skills
