WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Participate in day-to-day service desk tasks such as handling tier 2 escalations, producing internal documentation, and supporting the team on-call rotation
- Serve as an expert advisor to end users and stakeholder teams in resolving issues and implementing both processes and technical solutions
- Design, build, and iterate on every detail of corporate IT programs such as application administration, identity and access management, and endpoint management
- In collaboration with project managers and IT leadership, plan and report on work related to hardware and software design and implementation projects
- Engage in all facets of the project management lifecycle from initiation to closeout
- Integrate various SaaS products using both vendor-provided features and through development of custom tooling
- Contribute to the crafting of team policies and procedures with a focus on our emergent federal business unit
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 6+ years of experience in similar roles, including time as a senior member on an IT team
- Significant depth of experience across a broad range of technologies including mobile device management, cloud service providers, identity providers, and Software-as-a-Service broadly when managed at scale
- Managed all facets of productivity suites, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and collaboration tools, Zoom and Slack.
- Experience implementing security controls on endpoint devices using various tools such as Jamf and Microsoft Defender
- Fluency in network topologies and technologies as well as cloud infrastructure
- Motivation to teach as well as learn and to speak up as opportunities to improve this young and fast moving team arise
- Ability to manage multiple tasks of varying scopes simultaneously and pivot when necessary
- Familiarity with activities such as control design and evidence collection for compliance programs such as SOX and FedRAMP
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with analytics, monitoring, and dashboard tools
- Professional experience using high-level languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash to expedite and automate IT administration
- Demonstrable, strong interest in security and cloud technologies
- Fluency in operating within highly regulated environments
