What you’ll do:
As the Training Manager of Delos Cloud, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing all training programs within the organization. You will work closely with senior management to foster a learning culture which encourages and empowers employees to continuously seek and share knowledge within the organization. Your responsibilities will be critical in ensuring sustainable growth, building a supportive learning environment, and conveying a comprehensive understanding of the security requirements in the government and defense sectors.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop training curriculum:
Design and develop comprehensive training programs, including both technical and soft skills
- training, to address identified needs. Ensure that training materials are engaging, up-to-date, and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate training sessions:
Plan, schedule, and coordinate training sessions, ensuring that all logistics are in place. Arrange for trainers or subject matter experts to deliver training sessions, either internally or externally, as required.
- Evaluate training effectiveness:
Implement evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of training programs. Collect feedback from participants, analyze training outcomes, and make necessary adjustments to improve future training initiatives.
- Manage training budget:
Develop and manage the training budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently. Identify cost-effective training solutions and negotiate contracts with external training providers, if necessary.
- Stay updated with industry trends:
Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in training and development. Continuously enhance personal knowledge and skills to ensure training programs are innovative and relevant.
- Collaborate with stakeholders:
Work closely with department heads, managers, and subject matter experts to identify training needs and align training programs with business objectives.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure training initiatives are well-supported and integrated into the organizational culture.
- Maintain training records:
Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, evaluations, and certifications. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to training documentation.
Experience:
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability in managing and coordinating training initiatives, including scheduling, logistics, and evaluation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Willingness to acquire basic technical knowledge in a sovereign cloud environment.
Education:
- Fluent in German and English
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
