Leading the way, you'll collaborate with the team to build and maintain our platform to bring thousands of stories to millions of listeners and unleash the power of the human voice.
ABOUT YOU
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will...
- Design, develop, and test software components and applications for a leading global provider of audiobooks
- Utilize technology to address complex problems and deliver high-quality code on schedule
- Demonstrate proficiency in a wide range of data structures and algorithms, applying them effectively
- Independently clarify technical requirements, assess development estimates, and employ diverse design approaches
- Mentor and lead developers, fostering curiosity and deep technical understandingABOUT AUDIBLE

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience writing clear, maintainable and extensible code
