The scope of this position is the Markets Business and it requires close interaction with Cyber Security Operations units (ex: Security Operations Center, Cyber Security Fusion Center, Cyber Intelligence Center and others), Information Security Organization (ex: Cyber Risk Analysts, Cyber Architecture Analysts and Information Security Officers) and other stakeholders, like Application/Technology Managers, business Managers, Enterprise Resiliency teams, CSIS and others.
Responsibilities:
Work with Business/Tech staff on GEM, VTM remediation.
Execute Pre-production Security assessments and proactive risk reduction initiatives.
Work with Cyber Architects for design patterns for business-specific use cases
Work with ISOs on CAP management
Support CSFC in identifying the business impact of Cyber events and drive business/tech related activities in Cyber incident response lifecycle.
Support Cyber-Exercise Team in exercise planning, execution and Lessons Learned activities resolution.
Drive Cyber awareness in business/tech and act as liaison between CFSC Client & Engagement (C&E) and business/tech in delivering client-centric products.
Participate and support Client meetings, tours, workshops.
Qualifications:
6-10 years of relevant experience in Information Security
2 years penetration testing experience
Experience in application security reviews, vulnerability assessment, or penetration testing
Strong technical skills and knowledge of IS principles
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and software
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Proven influencing and relationship management skills
Proven analytical skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Certifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)

In this role the Cyber Defense Analyst oversees 7 security functions for the Markets Business. Responsibilities include CVM (Vulnerability Operations), pre-production security reviews, proactive threat hunting (RED Teaming), security incident response, Cyber security exercises, and cyber intelligence partnership with Citi’s Cyber Fusion Center, Cyber Intelligence Center and Client Security Services.
